AWS has many "regions" in different cities around the world. Each of these has multiple datacenters ("Availability Zones" in AWS terminology). Idealstack runs on AWS regions that support all the required AWS services on which Idealstack is built.
At the moment, you can create a stack in Idealstack in the following AWS regions:
- US North Virginia
- US Ohio
- US North California
- US Oregon
- Asia Pacific (Sydney)
- Asia Pacific (Singapore)
- Asia Pacific (Tokyo)
- Asia Pacific (Seoul)
- EU (Ireland) (eu-west-1)
- EU (London) (eu-west-2)
- EU (Frankfurt) (eu-central-1)
We regularly add additional regions as the required services become available in these regions
